According to Huffington Post "If you get a link inviting you to open a Google Doc — even one that apparently came from someone you know — be careful before clicking it open. According to multiple reports online, Gmail users are being targeted by a phishing scam that began spreading rapidly around mid-day Wednesday. The scam begins with an email notification telling you that someone from your email contacts has “shared a document with you in Google Docs.”According to The Verge, clicking on the link will take you to a Google page where you are asked to “sign in to Google Docs.” But in this case, "Google Docs" is the name of the malware."

Net Neutrality has been repealed in the United States. What does this mean? Short term...not much. But in the long term you may see internet providers start charging customers who want to view Facebook, or Netflix. The Providers can now delegate who is allowed to visit where. How? The FCC or Federal Communication Commission repealed an Obama era rule that stipulated that all internet domains and websites must be treated equal. With this change, not all websites are equal in the eyes of the commission in the United States that regulates internet traffic. Where this will go is uncertain. But if this repeal is not reversed, we can almost guarantee that the internet will not be as fair of a playing field and before. Globe & Mail article on this topic.
